I adored the charming architecture of Hotel Do Colegio, particularly the beautifully renovated areas that retained the historical character of the building, making it easy to navigate for seniors like myself. The ambiance was warm and inviting.
More seating in public areas would be helpful.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the lovely ambiance and comfortable furnishings in our superior room with a balcony. The outdoor pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring, and we really loved the chilled wine from the mini fridge. The only hiccup was that our breakfast choices were pretty much the same every day, but the delicious banana bread made up for it! 🍞

The location of Hotel Do Colegio impressed me. Just a short walk from the main spots in Ponta Delgada, it made exploring easy. The architecture captivated me with its charming stonework. My room was spacious and quiet, facing the pool, which added to the peaceful vibe. The breakfast spread pleased me. Local cheeses, fresh fruits, and homemade pastries made each morning delightful. The staff at the hotel stood out. they were friendly and attentive. They helped organize tours and provided great local dining recommendations. A few aspects needed attention, though. The pool could use some warming. it felt a bit too cold to enjoy fully. Also, I noticed limited seating in public areas, which could get crowded. Small annoyances, but they didn't ruin my stay. I'd return in a heartbeat for the location and breakfast quality!
